Review: Gucci's Flora Perfumes

Yesterday I came across a collection of Gucci's Flora Fragrances. All of the scents were packaged together with each bottle containing .5 oz. I must say that I was overjoyed to see this collection as I love all the scents in the Flora collection; however, it seemed impractical to me to buy all the scents in the bigger sizes. This seemed the perfect opportunity to discover what scent I liked the most other than Gorgeous Gardenia which I already own. (You can read my review of it here). I am absolutely pleased with my purchase as every single scent is a lovely, beautiful scent. I feel like a walking bouquet when I wear these fragrances.
As shown in the images, here is a list of the scents.
Glamorous Magnolia
Gracious Tuberose
Glorious Mandarin
Generous Violet
Gorgeous Gardenia

The packaging is simply lovely, and I am just absolutely enjoying all of these perfumes and would highly recommend these fragrances to anyone who loves floral perfumes. Definitely check these scents out next time you are perfume shopping!

An Invigorating Walk

January just feels like the perfect month to take long walks inside of secluded forests, doesn't it? With the wind in your face and the cool air in your lungs, it's hard not to be rejuvenated! The fact that it's good exercise is just a bonus when you are simply staring at nature in its majestic wintery form. These are some pictures I snapped on my walk. I decided not to edit any of them so that they are unchanged to show the scene, hopefully, in its purest form.

What do you love most about January?

A Beautiful Scent - Guccci Flora - Gorgeous Gardenia

When I was Christmas shopping last year, I smelled some different perfumes as I love perfume. I wanted to see if anything caught my attention. Well, one perfume in particular did, and that was one of Gucci's Flora perfumes, Gorgeous Gardenia.

It shouldn't have been a surprise that I liked the smell. I have always loved the smell of Gardenias. When I saw how expensive the perfume was, however, I put it back, thinking I would have to wait and think about it before spending so much money on something I wasn't a hundred percent sure I would continue to love.

Around four months later, every time I was shopping at a place that had the perfume, I would smell Gorgeous Gardenia. Each time, I continued loving the scent. Finally, I decided that I would finally get the perfume, and now I am loving having it!

It smells so fresh and clean, and I love that it is floral without being overpowering or sweet. Next time you have an opportunity, you should definitely check this perfume out and see if you like it as much as I do!

Have a lovely day!

Recent Beauty Purchases

Over the past couple of weeks, I have run out of several of my daily makeup items. So I went to Ulta and Target and restocked my supply. Here is some information about each one accompanied by pictures.

I had been wanting to get some foundation and concealer brushes, so I picked up this kit of complexion brushes by EcoTools. So far, I am really enjoying this set of brushes! They are really small which is helpful when it comes to storing them.

I had also been wanting to get a pencil eyeliner as I had used up all the other ones I had in black (literally, they were down to nubs!), so I picked this Scandal Eyes waterproof eyeliner by Rimmel. I love how easily this is applied. It really goes on wonderfully smoothly! Plus, I accidentally picked up the black eyeliner with glitter in it, but I am actually glad I did. The glitter is the perfect kind of glitter and makes the liner have a subtle shimmer. It is in the shade 002 Shimmering Black.

You can see the glitter best in this picture.

This eyeshadow palette is called Twilight Rays by Maybelline. I really loved the pastels in this palette and I also love the blues! I know a lot of people don't like blue eyeshadow, but I think that if it is applied properly, it can be extremely pretty! So far, I am very happy with these colors!

I had just run out of makeup remover, so I picked up several packages of Ponds cleansing towelettes. I have not tried these yet, but I am hoping they will be good!

This is what they look like. They look like they will be a really good size and they smell really nice and clean!

My Mom was really interested in this pretty pink nail polish by Zoya in the shade Bela, so I decided to treat both of us and buy it. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks lovely on my Mom's nails. It is such a pretty shade and makes your nails so shiny and pretty.

The last thing I have to show you is this lovely pastel green by Mayelline in the shade Green with Envy. It is a semi-matte color. I love how it looks!

Thank you so much for reading and have a lovely day!

How to add polish to your t-shirt

Bring out your inner Coco Chanel and wear a few strands of pearls - fake ones! Pair it with your t-shirt and you'll be one step closer to chic. (From Rue21)

A simple necklace like this one can add a touch of cute to your ensemble with just one delicate chain. (From Kohl's: Lauren Conrad)

When delicate just isn't doing it for you, maybe you should try a statement necklace like this one. It is floral, cute, and bright, as well as bold, and adds drama to any outfit.(From Forever 21)

This necklace makes me think of Mary Margaret Blanchard from the TV show Once Upon a Time. It is delicate and sweet and adds a lovely touch to any outfit, especially a t-shirt. (From Modcloth.com)

I hope this post was helpful to you! Thanks for reading!

Have a lovely day!!

A Lovely Nail Polish

Where's My Chauffeur? by Essie

I absolutely love this nail polish. It is a gorgeous Tiffany blue, and I love the finish it leaves on my nails. It is a perfect color for pretty much any season. (As you can see, I am not too amazing at putting nail polish on! I don't care too much, though, because who sees them up close like this, anyway?) What nail polish are you liking a lot right now?

February Favorites!

I know it isn't quite yet the end of February, so I am a little early for the February Favorites. However, I will be rather busy the rest of the month, so I figured it would be alright to be a little early. So, without further ado, here is my selection of beauty products for this month!

The first item is Maybelline's Color Show in Emerald City.

I was already wanting to get the nail polish because of the beautiful color, but the name cemented the purchase as I love the reference to the Wizard of Oz. The color is just lovely and I love the glitter in it!

I am wearing it now, as you can see, and I think that it is going to be perfect for spring and summer!

The next item is this brow/lash brush made by Revlon. I was really needing to get one of these and my lovely mother bought me one. I have really loved having it as it is really great for styling my brows! I would highly recommend it.

My mother also bought me this eyeshadow brush by Stella and I've really loved having it! It is cute and really soft and I'm so glad I have it!

I've heard so many people saying how amazing Baby Lips by Maybelline is, so I finally bought some to see how it worked. I actually really liked it! The one I got is called Strike a Rose and is a very pretty pink.

I can wear it alone or with some lipstick and it will make my lips shiny and moisturized. I love the color that I got and I think it is a very good tinted lip balm and would recommend it, especially considering the price.

This Physician's Formula eyeshadow palette was something I bought a couple of weeks ago, and I have been using it every single day! I love the colors and how long it lasts!

This blush and bronzer kit by Stila "Portrait of a Perfect Blush" is the perfect set of bronzers and blushes. I love the packaging, too, although that is not related to the actual product. I love how the bronzers and blushes go on and have been using them pretty much every day.

Rimmel London's Stay Matte powder is what I've been using for several months now, and I really love it! It keeps my skin from being oily as it promises and it matches my skin tone nicely, which is always a good thing. As you can probably tell, I've used quite a bit of it.

The last thing I'll mention is my GVP flat iron. I can straighten my hair in less than ten minutes easily with this flat iron and I really love the way it makes my hair feel so smooth.

What have you been loving this month?

Thanks for reading!

Have a lovely day!!

Perfume Collection

These are the six perfumes I wear the most often. So, without further ado, I will talk
about each one and give an idea what the scent is like and why I like it. :)

This perfume is Country Chic by Bath & Body Works. I love that it smells fresh and clean. Also, when you spray it on, it leaves glitter on your skin. It is a perfect scent for summer and, as you can see, I have definitely used it a good deal.

Forever Sunshine by Bath & Body Works is very sweet and reminds me of cupcakes and other sweet treats. It is a very, very girly scent and perfect for pretty much any season. I love the sweetness of it!

Pink Chiffon, also by Bath & Body Works, is another sweet-smelling perfume. It has more of a fruity scent to it, however, and is much more of a spring/summer scent than Forever Sunshine. It's a great scent for every day and I love how fresh it smells!

Peace Love & Juicy Couture by Juicy Couture is a very clean, fruity/flowery scent (my favorite kind of scent!). It is a light, clean scent and very sophisticated smelling, if that makes any sense. I wear it pretty much every single day right now, simply because it is a very versatile scent.

Daisy by Marc Jacobs is one of my all-time favorite perfumes. I've  been wearing it since I was fourteen. I just love the flowery smell (I mean, it is called Daisy) and how fresh and clean it is. I think it is great for every season, and it is just a lovely scent!

Rock Princess by Vera Wang is a spicy scent that is very clean smelling. I love to wear it special events because it smells very fancy. I also love how portable it is since it is applied with a roller-ball. If you read my What's in my Purse post, you know that I carry it in my purse whenever possible so that I have perfume on the go!

What perfumes are your favorites? Why? Comment below and let me know! :)
