Art History Reads

It is always a joy to read books that are about different periods in Art History. Today, I am showing only the books that are about more "modern" art. Impressionist art is always really interesting and beautiful to read about and look at. I only have one book about Art Deco so far, but as I love it so much, I am sure there will be additions later on. Here is a list of the books in the pictures.
Fashion in Impressionist Paris by Debra N. Mancoff
The Magic of Monet's Garden by Derek Fell
Impressionism: Painting Quickly in France 1860-1890 by Richard R. Brettell
Art Deco: The Golden Age of Graphic Art & Illustration by Michael Robinson
Neo-Impressionisten by Ellen Wardwell Lee

What is on your to-read stack? And what is your favorite period in Art History? I couldn't pick, but maybe you have something that stands out!

  1. I love looking at Monet. It's cool how his paintings change whether you're close or far away.
